MINERS SENT TO PRISON

(Received July 19, at 11 p.m.) Oti'3 lutndrsd and sixty miners who were summoned at Gateshead for non-payment of damages for the stoppage of work at u pit ha.vo been sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. Tlio men were imprisoned in batches.
