He was muddled with (lrink.-Mr Scurr said i.liat his client was a respectable countryman, well and favourably known to Mr Cvossan, and he had done this thing while under the influence of drink. Ho had no recollection of the tlioft. Counsel urged that a fine would meet the coeo.-Accused was fined 20s, and 6s (the value of the brandy), in default of payment 14-. days' iinprisomnent.
