CLAIM l'Oli DAMAGES. (Per U.nitki) I'kess Association.) Al CKLAND. February 5. All action arising out of a fire'which occurred at .Mount Roskill on November 9 was begun before Mr .lustiie Edwards at the Supreme Court to-day. The plaintiff ill tlio notion was Sidney Harold Darrach, a confectionery manufacturer, who clainud £1050 damages front Alfred liridgniaii, a storekeeper, for alleged negligence in leaving a burning diifit heap alongside his factory, and'thus, the plaintiff claimed, cans, in;,' the factory to be burnt down. The case wat not- concluded.
