Porters.—Day porters, £1 ss; night porters, £1 7s Gd.

General hands shall be paid not less than J-l 5s per week.

Barmen.—All barmen shall be paid not less than £3 per week.

Barmaids shall be paid not less limn £1 5s per week; probationers, for first, six months £1.

Housemaids shall be paid not less than IGs 6d per week. Housemaid find' waitress combined, awl permanently doing the work of both, shall be paid not less than 17s (xl per week.

Laundresses.—Workers engaged at Innudry shall be paid not less tlivui £1 7s Gd per week.

Probationers. — Employers shall be at liberty to employ as waiters male probationers for a. period not exceeding 12 months, and as waitresses female probationers ior a period not exceeding - six months in the proportion of cue probationer lo each three or fraction of three employees in receipt of not. less than the specified minimum wage, at the following rates of pay: Males, first six nicnMis 15s per week, second six months -1 per week; females. 10s per week. After serving the specified time of probation, the probationer shall be paid the minimum wages hereinbefore prescribed, provided that if the probationer is employed by more than one employer the probation period shall he deemed to commence from the time of entering the service of the first employer.
