— "Art" is a torm novor used outside a very small circle, except in connection with a certain kind of muslin known as "art muslin" and a parlicukr "line" in carpets called "art squares." Even in the verr small circle I have referred to '"ariistie" l-j the epithet usually applied to produc<ions which members of the circle secretly, vawn over, but feel they "ought to like."'
