BRIGHTON RAILWAY LEAGUE.

A meeting of the BriglitcJh Railway League was held in the Sehoolhouse on Tuesday evening, and was attended by the Kev. D. K. Fisbor (chtiirman). Messrs John Davcy, S. Jjoiib, John Mee, A.. V rho league's concert and dance, held on December 29, showed the total receipts to be £11 Bs. Pokschok and W. 11. ' wis unanimously carried:—"That this" league is of opinion thai; railway extension to Brighton should take precedence of all other proposals, and that tho lion. Thomas Mael;enzio, member for the district, be communicated with, urging him to take tho initial stops towards obtaining this object. *' A vote of thanks was passed to the Hon.
