Lee asked whether by tho /two-Power standard tho Government meant tho two next strongest Powers, whichever and wherever they may be. Mr Asquith replied: "Under all existing and foreseeable conditions, I think '•-hat is so.—(Cheers.) The dominating consideration of the Government is to maintain our superiority at sea, the twoPower standard being a workable formula to that end."—(Cheers.)
