MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT.
AN UNLIGHTED CABT. (Per United Press Association.) ■ , NAPIER, .November 24. Mr Brabant, S.M., gave his reserved judgment to-day in the case arising out of a collision between a motor car and a butcher's cart which occurred at night lecenlly oil the Awatoto road near Napier. Mr H. H. IMiairazyn, owner and driver of the car, which was damaged, obtained judgment .against John Higgiim, owner of tlie butcher's cart, for £55 and costs. Norman Mair, one, of the occupants of the motor bar, obtained judgment for £78 6s and costs against the same defendant on account of personal .injuries suffered in the accident. On the counter-claim by Biggins against Pharazyn for damage done to the butcher's cart'judgment was given. ior Pharazyu with costs. The magistrate held that the accident was due to defendant's servant- or servants driving without lights. l
