Sellers are asking 4s 3d and 4s 4d at country stations, while buyers' limit is about 4s-2d, and business ,is riot being readily transacted. I There is nothing doing in oats or chaff except the usual trade business for local consumption. ' , Potatoes arc now practically done for the season, and even small lots are difficult, to obtain. The local potato supply is now practically exhausted, the demand of lata having cleared out growers' stocks, ■'"■-■ »■■■ '■'- SALE OF SECTIONS AT BISHOPSCOURT. Messrs Park, Reynolds, and Co. offered yesterday, on account, of Mr M. S. Holmes, »■ number of sections at Bisliopscoiirt fronting on Sargood street and on Albert street. There was a good attendance, at theVoonis but, the bidding was, not Iteeti, and only one section was disposed of— via., section 8, of 16.8' poles, which was purchased by Sir A. Canipbeli for £160. Section 9 (16.5 poles) was passed in at £150, section 16 (26.7 poles) at £210, section, 17 (21.5 poles) at £200, and section 19 (26.7 poles) at £260. These and the other sections not submitted to auction arc now open for sale by private treaty, and the auctioneers state that privately thcro is a I very good demand for sections in that j district, j
