Bent secured an adjournment till November 19 for the purpose of reconstructing the Ministry, lie announced that his colleagues had placed themselves unreservedly in his hands, but insisted on his asking for an adjournment prior to the announcement of the new Ministry. The Country party met, and decided by a bare majority to give the Ministry time to reconstruct.
