A special meeting of the council of thft Now Zealand Amateur Athletic Association wns held to-night to consider the position in regard to the election of the new council. It. was decided to approve of the chairman's action. A motion passed at last meeting in favour of .holding the regatta »n Auckland Harbour was rescinded, and the question of whether the regatta will be held on Auckland Harbour or the Waikalo River course at Mercer will bo discussed next .Monday evening. At a moating of association delegates the date of the regatta will also be decided then.
