NORTHERN S.S. COMPANY.
ADDING TO ITS FLEET. (Pes United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 31. The Northern S.S. Company has decided to add two steamers to its fleet of coastal steamers. Mr C. Raiison. general manager of the Northern Company, stated that tho company hail just -concluded the purchase of the steamer Tasiuan, of the Anchor line, trading across Cook Strait. The Tusinau will .be delivered to tho Northern Company at Wangauui about the middle of npxt i month. The Northern Company is also preparing to build another steamer which is to be 10ft longer than the Ngapulii, and will carry from 50 to 60 more passengers than tbat vessel, whilo her cabins will bo I Pttdlis game scale asiic B&rawa'g.
