Tho singing of "For he's a jolly good fellow" brought a pleasant function to a close. ■ Tlio Lily of the Valley Lodgo held the fortnightly meeting on Wednesday 'evening, when there was a fair attendance of members and visitors. Ono candidate was initiated. The resignation of "V.A. Bro. Jlorris was received with regret. Bro. Green was elected to tho vacancy, and duly installed by the District President. Tho usual toasts were honoured, and responded to by Bro. Jacobsen, District President, and. Bro. Wood, on behalf of Otago Lodge. A card contest with' Otago Lodgo was held during tho evening, and honours wero even at euchre, but Otago were one rip at crib. Tho Juvenile Druids met on Tuesday evening, A.D. Bro. Paterson being .greeted with a largo attendance- of members. D.G.V.P. Bro. A. H. -Shelton attended tho lodge, and was accorded a hearty welcome. Bro. Moss, assisted by Bro. A. J. Easton, installed the officers in a very efficient manner. Bros. Moss and Shelton contributed items, much to the delight of tlio boys. •
