CITY POLICE COURT.
TiinnsDAr, .July 30. (Before Mr 0. 0. Graham, S.M.) Drnnkonncss.—John Brennun, with 15 previous conviotioiis, was fined' ss, in dofault 24 hours' imprisonment. Prohibition Order—A prohibition order was granted against a man on the application of hie soiM-in-law.—Mr Payne appeared for defendant, who .resisted tho order, and Sir Scurr appeared for the applicants, Illegal Instrument.—On a charge of permitting a certain instrument to be used, Daisy Edwards (on remand) was committed for trial. Bail was allowed, self in £100 and two sureties of £50. Accused, who was represented by Mr Irwin, reserved her defence.
