AUCKLAND, July 30. According to advices received bv Messrs L. C. Gillespie and Sons, the local agents, tihc steamer Invertny, which put into Durban recently on account of damage sustained by colliding with 3omo wrcektago whilst on the voyage from New York to New Zealand, has a large cargo of oil cn board for tho principal ports—approximately, about 160,0t10 cases. It is understood that the vessel ds coming direct to New Zealand, Auckland being lier first port of call.
