CHARGES OF PERJURY.
(Per United Press Association*.) WELLINGTON, Juno 19. A young man, John Cameron, was some time since fined £5 before justices of the jic-ace for using obscene language to a barmaid m a hotel. In giving evidence Cameron absolutely denied the allegation, tag supported by two mates. The Crown instituted proceedings for perjury,, and tlw magistrate committed Cameron to the District Court. A charge against one of himales is proceeding. KKEFTON, June 19. A man named Halliday, charged with perjury, has beeit coiwnittcd for trial.
