(Pek United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 19. In the Divorce Court to-day decrees nisi were granted in Mary Tobin v. Herbert John Tobin (desertion) and Catherine Mary! Eketon v. James A. Eketon (desertion). CHRISTOHUROH. June 19. Applications for the 25 holdings of the Culverdon Estate closed to-day. Altogether 982 applications were received from all parts of the colony, representing 792 applicants. Over £100,000 was taken in deposits. The examination ol applicants commences at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, and the ballot will take place on Friday.
