A DRUDGE'S SPOIL.

(From Our Own Corbespoj:dent.) AUCKLAND, May 13. Somo interesting and valuable spoil has recently been brought, up by the Auckland Harbour Board's Dredger No. 121. Some 35 years ago a collier from Newcastle sunk at a spot off what is now the eastern 6ide of tho railway wharf. Tho collier was never raised, and has remained with her oargo at the bottom of tho harbour. The dredger has been working over tho spot lately, and, besides portions of tho wreck, has brought up some 200 tons of coal, thd >alue of which, at tho rates at present ruling for Newcastle coal, is nearly £300. lhe coal is in excellent condition, .thus proving that it has in no' way deteriorated by its long submersion.
