Complaints have recently been Instituted in Wellington with regard to what is termed the "glut" in the labour market there, due to the supplies through immigration and other channels proving too great for iho demand. On application to Mr ..I. Hhanaghnn, ollicnr in charge of the local labour bureau, it, was learned that such a condition of affairs can in no way bo said to exist in Auckland. "Wo have no congestion of the unemployed here," raid Mr .Shanaghan, "and although, as is uhvuys the ease, there are a few men who cannot bo suited, work can nearly always be found for good men, and the supply and demand just about balance. ,AVc have very few men out of work in Auckland."
