Wheat: Four Australian cargoes sold at 38s, 38s 3d, 38s and 39s 6d respectively, and a. parcel of 14,000 quarters January and February shipment at 38s 6d. September 6. (Received Sept. 6, at 10.22 p.m.) ■ ■ The wheat markets are very strong, prices showing an advance of fully Is 6d for the week. Holders aro bullish owing to reports of a' crop failure in Manitoba and disappointing results-, from Russia. Cargoes aro firmly held. Australian spot, 39s 6d. * SYDNEY, September 6. The wheat, market here is in sympathy with London, and is very firm ; Is ljd to 4s 2d -was offered, but 4s 3d is wanted. ADELAIDE, September 6. The Government lias arranged to get daily wheat- quotations from Mark Lane, as a check on private quotations. Whether the Government will go as far as handling •the wheat will depend on circumstances,
