ARRIVAL OF IMMIGRANTS.
(Per Ukitcd Press Association./ AUCKLAND, August 31. Tho steamer Devon, which arrived from London to-day, brought 157 immigrants, including 23 for Port Chalmers, 38 for Wellington. 24 for Lyttelton, and 60 for Auckland. All are well.
The following are for Port Chalmers:— C. Kraus, Peter Fisher, R Dick, Jolui M'l-ocxi, Catherine Xl'Lcod, Andrew Howie, 11. _ Smith, M. W.ito, J. Watson, D. M'Kenzie, E. G. Murton, Martha Muir and fonr children, Misses E. Timoncy and A. Timoney, Mr and Mre J. Simson- and two children, Mrs Arklo.
