The notes in circulation total £29,175,000; public deposits, £7,618,000; other deposits, £46,865,000; Government securities, £14,574,000; and other securities, £31,079,000. ' Three months' bills are discounted at 4J per cent.

Hour: Firm, but inactive. Australian patent makes, 25s 6d to 265, ex store; fair trade. Glasgow quotations for July and August shipments, 27s to 27s 6d.
Butter: Steady and unchanged. Danish, 109s to 110s,
Copper: Spot, £78 12s 6d; three months, £77 2s 6d.
