The adjourned summoned meeting of the Hope of Dunedin Tent, 1.0. K., washeld in , 6 Lo , ff « Choral Hall on Monday evening last, when there was a good attendance of members P D.C.It. Bro. S. F. Sherwood installed tlie following officers:-C.R„ Bio. A. Martin, 1).]?., Bro. C. Sl'Kessar; Secretary Bro. Farrant; Treasurer, Bro. A T Jflndos; Levite, Bro. K. Fleming; Guardrail, Bro, AV. BirchaJl; Auditor, Bro. -T. G i, y ' i steward, Bro. Ueppclthwailc; M. steward, Bro. H. J. Hall. The Judicial Oonitnittefi was also declared duly Reelected. Superintendents of Juvenile Tents: Primrose, Sis. King and Bro. Hamblett; Mayflower, Bros. Al'lndoe and Dov/land; Thishe, Bros. H. J. Hall and R. Slater; Hope of the Valley, Bros. Birohall, 'McDonald, and Martin. Tlie balance sheets showed the various tents to be in a good financial position, the adult tent having & balance to credit of sick fund of £2116 2s sd. The membership is now 205 adults. The question of centralisation of sick funds was put before the meeting by Bro. K. Farrant, but after an animated discussion the vote was carried against it. An invitation was extended to the Sons and daughters of Temperance to a social evening on 29th inst., when a good night's amusement is anticipated. ■ A committee was also appointed to make all necessary arrangements for the tent's animal social in September next. Two candidates ivero elected and four proposed for membership.
