EXTRAORDINARY ACCIDENT.
(Per Ukhbd Pbess Association.) WANGANUI, July 3. < John Blair, 69 years old, met his death this morning under peculiar circumstances. Ho was standing on a chair, pruning fruit trees, when the chair gave way and he' foil on the knife, this causing a severing of the jugular vein and death in. a. few minutes. At the inqueest this afternoon a verdict of accidental death was returned.
