PROPERTY SALE. Messrs Alex. Harris and Co. yesterday offered for silo by auction section 23, block V, Musselburgh, with a modern six-roomed dwelling thereon. As the highast bid (£100) did not reach the reserve placed on the property it was passed in.

There waa' n l&igo and representative gathering of timers and buyers from Palmewton, Seocliff, Waikouaiti, Morton, Warrington, Wmtati, Dunedin, anil surrounding districts. Bidding was keon throughout tlto ual6, and the live stock, including horses, realised vory satisfactory prices. Tho cows, taking into consideration the fact that they were all late spring calvers and only in fair condition, sold very well. Implements, tools, chaff, fowls, etc., also ljrought good values.
