TORNADO IN TEXAS.

NEW YORK, April 29. A tornado destroyed the village of Hemlug, in the State of Texas. Eight persons perished, and several deaths are reported from tlie neighbouring villages. Hailstone drifts 2ft in' height impeded the railway traffic.
