PECULIAR INCIDENT IN FIJI. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 11. On the request of bis fellow-passengers, Dr Fox v;as called in to examine the patient when on tho steamer, and ho issued a certificate that the man had no right to ho taken to the asylum hut urgently required medical aid. Deceased was about 40 years of age, and leaves a wife at Chrisfchureh. He was described as one of the elevcrcst veterinary surgeons in New Zealand."
