AX ACCIDENT. (Per United Pbess Association) N'APll'il!, March 25. the i\ew /calami polo tournament was continued at Hastings to-day, two games in tne Handicap Cup being played. In the game Rangitikci A (scr.) v. _ Wellington I! (15), Rungitikei scored two goals in tho first spoil and ono in the second, when \ Williams, captain of tho Waipiro Club, who was playing in the Wellington team in place of Karl' Williams (who was injured on Wednesday hist.) had a nasty spill, hie pony stumbling with him. Williams had his shoulder disloKitcd and arm broken. Both riders met with their accidents when riding tlio same pony. In consequence of the accident, Wellington I? withdrew from the competition, not having another man lo fill tho vacancy, The match liawko'a Buy A (2) v. Wellington A (10) was won by the latter by 15 goals to 8. Tlio annual jjeneral meeting of the New Zealand Polo Association was held at Hastings today.
