ABOUT TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND.. (Per United Press Association.) CtIKISTCIIIJHLU March 25. Professor David S. Jordan, a distinguished American scientist, is to visit Now Zealand shortly. In a letter to tho curator of the Ohristchurch Museum, read at a meeting of tlie Board of Governors of Canterbury College to-night, Professor Jordan staiod that he intends to spend May iu Australia, and from Iho middle of June 10 tho middle of July in New Zealand. lie would want io see as much as ho could of the natural history of tlio country, and would visit all its universities. 110 intends to give a number of luldi'Pf&M. The programme in that regard lie leaves .with his friend Sir Kobcrt Stout, 110 might, jierhaiis bring with him a student us assistant, and collector. Tito chairman of tho board stated that suitable arrangements for the reception ot Pro lessor Jordan in Christchureh would be made.
