Press Asseciation-By Telegraph-Copyright. LONDON, March 24. As a result of the Registrar-general's complaint of neglecting her work, Mis Pankhurst, the female suffragist gitator, has resigned her position as registrar of tlio Manchester districts.
Mrs Tank-hurst recently informed a Dailv -Uful representative that the suffrage ties are determined to /oree the Liberal Government- to recognise t-licir claim. "Wo intend," slie said, "to force Sir Henry Camphell-Bannermau to inelutle wourons suffrage in the King's Speech j not as n mere reference, but as a slated line of policy. Our tactics will be much changed and made much more effective, oo intensely do women throughout tho country feel that they arc now coming up to London without notifying us at, headquarters, are marching on tho House, and making their protests. Soon tho gaol 3 will not hold tile women who will W arrested. Our advocates arc fica-viered far and wide to-night and every night, proclaiming from a hundred platforms up and down Kngland Wales, and Scotland that women must have the vote. 1 '
