Patrician Wondiock, (if Liverpool, who lias been twice jii-eviously convicted in connection with snffragej-tcs* demonstratinns, was.sentenced to one month's imprisonment- for taking part in the last raid on the House of Commons. The magistrate warned the suffragettes that a repetition of their offence would involve imprisonment without the option of a line. March 23. (Received March 24, at 4.51 p.m.)
A petition, signed by.37.000 women of (ircaf Britain and Ireland, has been presented to the House of Commons against enfranchisement.
