The result was: Hawke's Bay A, 10 goals; Mangaheia, 1 goal. Russell and Nelson scored in tho first spell. In the second spell W. Mackenzie Nelson added another goal in Ihe third spell. In the fourth Mangaheia played much better, and obtained a goal, which, however, was scored by one of the Hawke's Bay team hitting the ball with a back strojee, tho ball hitting another of the Hawke's Bay ponies and rebounding through the goal.
