SALE OF PICTURES.; There was a fair attendance o( llio publio at the Stock Exchange yesterday aft-ernoon, when Mr E. W. Christmas's paintings were put up to public unction by Messrs Pari;, lieynolds, and Co. Willi the exception of the larger pictures, upon which Mr Christmas had placed reserves, all the- picturo3 were sold nt satisfactory prices, ranging from £2 2s for the smaller skotchos up to £'12 12s for the medium-sized oils and water-colours.
