WAITATI SCHOOL PICNIC.
The AVaitati children, accompanied by their parents and friends, held their picnic at Warrington on March 15. The children were well catered for during tho day, there being an abundant supply of cakos and lollies for all. During the day the usual ptogrammo of sports was gono'through, and prizes were awarded for racing, skipping, etc. Thanks are due tc the energetic committee, consisting of Mcsdames Blacklaws, Briscoe, Easton, Ferguson, Hilgendorf. Kay, Lumuii, Marshall, Moore, Morris, Thorn, Trew, and "Wilson, and Miss Farquharson, who got up the picnic, each member being untiring in her efforts to uiako it a success. Tho day was nil that could be desired, and nil returned to Vaitati well pleased with tho day's outing.
