INDEPENDENT POLITICAL LABOUR LEAGUE.
(Per United Pbess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 22. At (lie meeting of the Christchurch Branch of the Independent Political Labour League last night Messrs J. Thorn and J. A. M'C'ullough were appointed to represent, the branch at. the annual conference at Dunedin, and they were instructed to urge the appointment of a colonial organiser to establish branches in all electorates before next election. The candidatures of Messrs Thorn anil Paterson for the Christchurch Central Ward at the nc:;t election, Mr Sullivan for Sydenham Ward, and Mr Faulkner for tho St. Albans Ward, were approved.
