Ihe infantry, who wore padded coats and blankets, were constantly harassed by the. discharge of poisoned arrows. The Tibtiks' casualties totalled MO. On the British side Lieutenants Chaytor and Tliompson were wounded. Eleven infantrymen were killed and 10 wounded.
