AUCKLAND MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
THE LABOUR PLATFORM. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 21. The platform adopted by the Labour candidates for the municipal elections includes rating on unimproved values, power by initiative to demand a vote on. any policy proposal, better sanitary _ maintenance of back streets, municipalising the sanitary service, municipal markets for fish, fruit, meat, and a depot for the sterilisation of tlio city's milk supply, workers' homes and the speedy demolition of insanitary dwellings, and a union wage to bo fixed for all employees of the council.
