Harry Maripiet and Alfred Bolimly pleaded " tiuilty" at the Magistrate's Court tu-day to stealing 55 sides of leather after % tire at the Woolstou tannery on IJeceuiber 1, and were committed for sentence. Udgar lie vis Mead admitted having received' tint leather knowing it to have tail stolon, and was also committed for dcnwneo. A man named Arthur Sparrow, upon several charges of petty theft- at ihe Exhibition, v.'as (hied 40s on each charge.
