ACCIDENT TO A POLO PLAYER

NAPIER, March 20. •lust as (he hell rung for the finish of tho last polo match to-day, Mr Carl Williams, of the Wellington team, had a rather nasty spill, bo.in.sr thrown along the ground for a considerable distance and rendered unconscious. A doctor wa6 in attendance immediately. Mr Williams recovered consciousabout, 9 p.m. It is not believed that any hones arc broken.
