THE COLONIAL MUSEUM.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, March 20. The Colonial Museum, which houses many valuable treasures, is in a very dilapidated condition. The building leaks in a number of places, and during the recent heavy rains valuable records had lo be removed from the office. There is also danger from lire in such an old building. If a fire did break out, the loss to the colony would be almost irreparable, and would run into very many thousands of pounds.
