A DISPUTE SETTLED.
■£> Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, MELBOURNE, March 6. The long-standing; dispute between tho Oceanic S.S. Company and tlio Postal Department has been settled. The arrears will be paid to tho company, which in future will ho paid the Federal rate of 2s in tlio pound for mails to New Zealand, and the l'ostal Union rato of 3s 7d for mails beyond New Zealand. Tho •arrangement covers the period from the date of tho transfer of the Post Office to the Federation.
