Messrs Macmillan have just published a new edition of 'Rhoda Broughton's strong and charming story of "Lavinia."

Messrs Jack announce a cheap edition of "The Centenary Burns," containing, in addition to Mr Henley's famous essay on Burns, all the text, notes, glossaries, etc., exactly as in the original edition.

A new, cheaper, and enlarged' edition of Princo Peter Kropo'tkin's "Memoirs of a Revolutionist" will be published by Messrs Swan Sonnenschein.

With the additions of "Aladdin" and "Ali Baba." and a new and full index, glossary, etc., this is a most attractive edition of thn 1001 Nights. The Glasgow Evening News savs thntMr F. J. R-viner has taken over the oldestablished business of Messrs Sampson Low, Marston, aijd Co., a firm honourably associated with some of the greatest travel books of the nineteenth century. The first fruits of Mr Rymer's energetic reconstruction will appear in several neweditions of authors who will ahvavs be connected with the name of bis firm— Blackmore, Jules Verne, and Louisa Alcott. A new edition of "Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea" is'in preparation, and " Lorna- Doone" is to come out in a new thin paper pocket edition.
