. WAIHI, February 22, A,' young man named Maclean, while engaged in the press shed at the AVailii Company's battery at Waikino, was caught •up in some revolving lilting. In tho first revolution Lis head was dashed against a Bteampipe, >and his mangled remains finally fell on the floor.
