(Received Feb. 19, at 9.44 p.m.) In the Gregory benefit cricket match New South Wales v. the Rest of Australia, New South Wales in their second innings made 312. Blaxland scored 43, Waddy 129, Carter (not out) 32. Armstrong took three wickets for 44, Hazlett two for 92, 0 Connor two for 85, and Bowden one for 44. The Rest of Australia lost two wickets for 25, Colter securing the Gregory brothers' wickets for 12. The Rest of Australia won by eight •wickets.
Gregory will net over £600 from the match.

Another case of plague has been reported, making the sixth case from one hotel, now closed. The authorities have decided in future to quarantine all premises where plague rats have been found or from which patients have been removed.
