KILLED BY FUMES
HOW TSCHERNL4K MET HIS DEATH. Pms Association—By Telegraph—Capjright. ' MUSSELS, February 18. Later details show that Tseherniak and two Swedes and a police agent were passengers on the steamer Olafwyjk, proceeding from Gothenburg to Antwerp. Ail were killed by means of fumes from a bomb, t which is supposed, to have been placed in Tscheruiak's cabin by tlio Russian police agent. The fumes spread lo the adjoining cabins.
I'scherniak was chief of the Red Guards, tho revolutionary body of Finland, lie and two other men were arrcstted on landing fit Stockholm in September last on suspicion of being Anarchists. They were reported to have confessed their intention of robbing banks in Stockholm to get funds for tho revolutionary cause iu Finland. As the Russian nufhorities refused to agree to the conditions insisted upon for the extradition of Tschorniak it was decided that ho should be released and expelled from Sweden.
