(Pir United Press Association.) UREYMOUTH, February 17. The Hon. J, M'Gowan, Minister of Mines, arrived fropi Christehui'ch on Saturday evening. Ho was accorded a.. welcome by tho Deputy-mayor and councillors. Ho goes to Kunwra on Monday to open tho new wing of tho hospital. Ho, will bo at, Ross ou Tuesday, and attends a lmuquet to Mr T. Soddoii. M.H.R., at Ifo'kiiika, on Wednesday. On Thursday morning he will visit the State coal mine. Ho will receive a deputation in tho afternoon, and will attend a banquet in tho ovoning.
