I hear that tho Olago Farmers' Co-bperft. live Association has purchased the grocery ami ironmongery business of Mr Forbes W J;iach„ and intends carrying on that extensive business as. a wholesale and retail cou-' cerii os from October 1. This is a novel thing in Milton—a company starting against, tho shopkeepers, and 1 predict unpleasant development* to follow.
