The third annual hockey match between Canterbury and' Otago will take place on tho Caledonian G round on Saturday next nl l.:ro p.m., immediately prior to the Sydney v. Otag:) Univorsity football match. Much interest is being taken in this match, and ihu Otago representatives havu been practising hard during tho past three weeks, and' tl[ey hopo to avengo the deleiit they suffered when they visited C'iiiistchureh• last year. Canterbury, however, are sending down 'a, strong and leprcysuiitative team, and the gamo will bo lull ot interest nml excitement. Should tho weather provo fine, followers of hookey will bo sure to turn out in large numbers, and it is hoped the public will also support Iho centre by going out to witness the game. Through tlio courtesy of tho 0.R.F.U., tho centre, lins been given very Ijveral terms with regard to tho gnto receipts, but it is hoped that those who wish to see n really good game of hockey will attend at the Caledonian GromuV enrly, A final practice has been arranged for Wednesday afternoon, when a match will bo played between tho Ota"o representative team and a team picked, from the \.M.C.A. Wednesday Club. The members of the team are asked to ba in attendance at Forbury Park on Wednesday, ready :to start playing at 1 p.m'. sharp. Mr South wilt referee.
