Mjongo and two other natives, who have been tried at 'Maritzbm - !! on a charge of murdering Sub-inspector Hunt and Trooper Armstrong at Richmond at the commencement of the native rebellion, have been sentenced to death. RAILWAY RATES. CAPETOWN, September 8. (Received Sept. 9, at 4.30 p.m.) Tho Central South African railways have announced that after September 30 goods rates from localities in Cape Colony to localities in the Orange River Colony and to certain localities in the Transvaal will be increased by the amount of the Cape Colony rebates.
