M. U. I. O. O. F.
The usual fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Hand and Heart Lodge, M.U.1.0.0.F., was held in the hall, Stuart street, on Tuesday evening. N.G. Ero. Fea was in the chair. Ono new nicmb?r was initiated. Tho N.G. reported on tho progress of the Kirby Bciicfu Concert Committee, and stated that favourable reports had been received from tho leading talent of Dunedin offering their services for the concert to be hold on September 5. Tho following contributed to the harmony of tho evening:— G.M. Bro. Rossveare, P.G. Bro. Flynn, Bros. Miller, Cubitt, Douglas, and E. S. Lyon (songs). Bros. M'Kenzie and Russell (recitations). The following replied for tho visitors:—P.G.M. Bio. Black (District). 2?. G. Bro. Davw {Dunedin), Bro. Wharton (Valley), Bro. Cubitt (Britain). P.G.M. Bro. Block reported that a new lodge would be opened at Middlemarch ou the 14th August, and invited members to be present.
